AM Best Finds Investors Heritage’s Outlook Positive, Financial Strength Ratings Affirmed

May 7, 2019 – Frankfort, KY – AM Best announced on May 1 that it has revised upward Investors Heritage’s outlook to positive from stable and affirmed our Financial Strength Rating of B+ (Good) and Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating (Long-Term ICR) of “bbb-.” The ratings agency cited our balance sheet strength, which it categorized as strong; our developing business profile, which includes new lines of business, such as the Heritage Builder annuity launched last October, and increased geographic availability of our products; and our enterprise risk controls.
